IRISH WIND ENERGY CREATES JOBS

WE ARE CREATING JOBS IN IRISH WIND ENERGY

  • Today in Ireland there are more than 3,400 jobs of people across the country involved in developing our clean Irish wind energy sector. New jobs are being created all the time, and with the right support we expect to see over 8,000 jobs by 2020.
  • The people working in Irish wind energy are spread across the country, and are in diverse trades from electricians to engineers to environmental advisors.
  • As part of ensuring that we have the right skills for Irish people to fill these wind energy jobs, training and research is being provided, and often this training is vital for people who have been unemployed and who are looking to build a new career.
